The mural marking the 65th Anniversary of the end of World War II in 1945, was repainted by Thom Coppola, some 65 years later. Standing at the mural are veterans (L to R) Herb Silvestri, Dom Fortunato, Peter Patti, Paul Marlu Maiellaro and Jersey City Board of Education Board members Sean Conners & Angel Valentin. Paul, at age 78, is a Korean War veteran & still watches over the mural. The motto is to keep the mural alive!
