Private funeral services were held for Leslie E. Larocque, 52. She died Nov. 19 at her friend’s home in Jersey City. Born in Paris, France, the daughter of her surviving parents Patricia and Gerald Larocque, she lived in Islin, Toms River, and Akron, Ohio before settling in Jersey City in 1994. She had been a chef at St. Mary’s Residence, on Washington St., Jersey City. She was the mother of Jennifer; grandmother of Zane, Jocelyn and Aolani; sister of Gerald “Buddy” Larocque, Jr., Thomas, Brian, Linda Abourashad, and Patricia, and step-sister of Tom, Christine, Donna and Peter Maat. Also survived by a caring extended family. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
