To the Editor:
We would like to thank everyone who helped with the fundraiser last month for our son, Michael Worosila. First of all, a special thanks goes to Freddy “Duke” Fulton for making it all possible. For his tireless energy, time, and effort in making all the arrangements and spearheading the event from the beginning, there are not enough words to thank him properly.
We’d also like to thank all the guys at IMTT for their help, donations, etc. We’d also like to acknowledge Robbin’s Reef for the use of their beautiful grounds – we had gorgeous weather, and the event was a much-needed oasis of happiness during this long ordeal. A big thank you to all the local restaurants and businesses who donated food and decorations, and to Syren Nation for providing great music, especially drummer Sean Pierson. And of course, to everyone who attended, brought food, sent donations, or just said a prayer for Michael. Your amazing generosity, love, and support are so appreciated.
Last but not least, we’d like to thank all the members of the Scaturo and Worosila families for always being there for us. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as Michael makes the long recovery from his bone marrow transplant.
