Dear Editor:
On Oct. 22, an inspired and tireless group of local volunteers, led by Jen Cunningham and Sarah Kreidler, threw a dance party at the Elks Club which raised $10,000 to benefit the Jubilee Center. This impressive array of local businesses donated food and sponsored the event: Academy Bus, Black Bear, Hunter Public Relations, ClassLink, Shallis Group, Court Street Restaurant, Bin 14, Anthony David’s, The Cheese Store, Kings Supermarket, Elysian Café, City Bistro, The Candy Shoppe, Charrito’s Restaurant, Garden Wine and Liquor, Giorgio Pasticceria Italiana, Margherita’s Pizza and Café, Liberty Bar and Restaurant, Madison Bar and Grill, Mulligan’s, Helmer’s Restaurant, Robongi Restaurant, Rosario’s Pizza, Rubee’s Closet, Uptown Liquor, Sparrow Wine and Liquor Company, Vito’s Deli, and Zack’s Oak Bar and Restaurant. Also, special thanks to our generous cash sponsors: Academy Bus, Hunter Public Relations, ClassLink and The Shallis Group, Weichert Realtors, and Park Ave Software. Thanks, too, to the Hoboken Family Alliance for marketing support. I know we don’t do this enough but THANK YOU! Thank you all for your altruism and your leadership in our community. We at the Jubilee Center appreciate all you have done on behalf of the children on Hoboken’s west side.
