To the Editor:
Recently, St. Ann’s Society of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish held is 76th annual fundraiser at The Chandelier. On behalf of the society, I would like to thank the Chandelier’s managers, Victor and Carlos, and their staff for the excellent food and always making us comfortable.
We also owe a great deal of gratitude to the Bayonne merchants and restaurant owners who always generously donate to our fundraiser. We would like to thank them for their participation, especially during these difficult economic times.
I would like to offer special thanks to Archie’s Taxi Service for providing us with the van and their driver, Jim, who took time from their busy schedule, to move all of our gifts for the fundraiser to the Chandelier at no charge to us.
We thank all of those who attended the event and always support us every year. I hope you all had a fun evening!
And last but not least, a round of applause to all of the St. Ann’s members who assisted me throughout the preparation and completion of the fundraiser. This is a time we come together and work as a team, as it shows the true spirit of the society with the guidance of St. Ann and her motherly touch.
