WEEHAWKEN AND BEYOND — Continuing a 23-year tradition, this year on Veterans’ Day (Nov. 11), NY Waterway will provide free commuter ferry service to all active duty military personnel and veterans.
“It is with great honor that NY Waterway salutes the brave men and women who have served our country,” said NY Waterway president and founder Arthur E. Imperatore, who served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Service men and women and veterans must present ID showing their active duty or veteran status to ride free.
