Funeral services were held Nov. 4 at St. Mary’s Church for Aurora Dora Alvarez Carmona, 78, of Jersey City. She died Oct. 29. She worked as a seamstress in Manhattan. She was the wife of Pablo Alvarez Gautier and the mother of Miguel Burgos, Jose Alvarez, Paul Alvarez, and the late Luis Alvarez, Edwin Alvarez, Victor Alvarez, and Maria Alvarez.
