JERSEY CITY – Residents in Jersey City’s Ward B will get to vote in a special election Tuesday with six contestants – incumbent David Donnelly, Diane Verlingo, Earlin Thomas, Esther Wintner, Raymond Skop, and Isaiah Gadsden.
The special election is to fill the rest of the term for the council seat previously held by Phil Kenny, who stepped down from the council position last October after he pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from government informant Solomon Dwek. The term expires on June 30, 2013.
