Turner and council members support Sires and Schillari

Dear Editor:
We hope this letter finds the citizens of Weehawken and their families well. As you may be aware Tuesday, November 2nd is Election Day. Mayor Turner and the entire Township Council are supporting Congressman Albio Sires (1B) and Frank Schillari (3B) for Hudson County Sherriff.
Both candidates will stand up for Weehawken residents and make sure our Town receives the representation we need in these tough economic times. It is important to elect candidates who will fight for the resources we need to keep taxes stable. We are very proud to support these candidates.
Congressman Albio Sires is a long time advocate for Weehawken, first as our Assemblyman and now as our Congressman. Congressman Sires is fighting to create new jobs, improve transportation, and for more funding for our school children. He is committed to protecting social security and Medicare.
Francis Schillari is a United States Navy Veteran and decorated police officer. He worked with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Narcotics Task Force and the F.B.I Organized Crime Task Force. As our Sheriff he will work hard to keep county parks and roads safe for all residents.
These candidates will fight for the issues that are important to Weehawken. On Tuesday, November 6th please vote Column B for Congressman Albio Sires (1B) and Frank Schillari for Sheriff (3B). Polls are open from 6 a.m to 8 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you on Election Day. Thank you for your support.

Mayor Richard F. Turner and the Township Council
