HOBOKEN – Tonight’s City Council meeting is scheduled to address budgetary issues, southwest redevelopment, and the proposed 9/11 memorial.
Currently, there are 11 resolutions on the agenda which would insert a “special item of revenue” into the Transition Year 2010 Municipal Budget, which passed at the Oct. 6 meeting.
A resolution submitted by the Community Development office would amend the proposed southwest area in need of redevelopment, and would authorize the Planning Board to conduct a preliminary investigation of the amended proposed area. The Planning Board would also be authorized to provide recommendations to the City Council, according to the agenda.
