Dear Editor:
Historically, the 4thWard has been the forgotten ward. Sad, because this is the most diversified ward in the city, which makes it a wonderful place to live, learn, love, and pray.
However, many feel neglected. They feel that their concerns regarding public safety, senior bus service, parks, unpaved roads, and flooding are not heard, and even ignored. Does anyone care about the 4th Ward?
Recently, I have met Tim Occhipinti who is running for the office of the 4th Ward Council. Tim is a welcome change. He listens and cares. I have seen Tim talk to the residents and patiently explain what can be done to improve the quality of life in this ward. And, yes, I am impressed Tim possesses the common sense, people skills, and drive needed to make a difference. He is his own person, a man of integrity who will fight for the improvements the 4th Ward needs and deserves. A better candidate would be hard to find.
