Funeral services will be held Oct. 7 at Calvary C.M.E. Church for Edyfel Chandler, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She died Sept. 30. She was the daughter of the late Henry T. Nesmith and Janice Alston; the wife of the late Levi Chandler Sr.; the mother of Edward L. Levi Jr., Richard, Ronald, Eugene, and the late Diana, Willie Mae, Lula B., Organ, Harriett, and Essie; the sister of Prince, Bertha, Elaese, Berdel, and Harriett; the grandmother of 22; the great-grandmother of three; and the relative and friend to many more.
