Candidates for the 31st Assembly District debate

HUDSON COUNTY– Three of the four candidates in the upcoming special election for the 31st District Assembly seat clashed in a debate to be aired soon on the http://www.hudsonreporter.com website.
Democratic Incumbent Assemblyman Jason O’Donnell traded barbs with Democratic Independent Robert Mays. In an hour-long debate O’Donnell, Mays and Republican challenger Joe Turella answered a series of questions about the issues most concerning the 31st District – including how each would work to help financially strapped cities in their district, and how to address blighted areas.
Denis Wilbeck, the other candidate running for the office, was unable to attend because of business commitments.
