Funeral services were held Sept. 28 for Ashya Janay Moss of Jersey City. She died Sept. 22. She was the daughter of Sanisha Lynn Wali-Uddin and Ismail Akihassan Moss; the sister of Ismail Goodwin, Quamail Moss, and Samiyah Taylor; the granddaughter of Sharon Lynn Wali-Uddin, John Payne, and Ellen and Robert Moss; the great- granddaughter of Authur Stroman, Johnny Moss, and the late Ruth Moss and Edna Stroman; the niece of Vonda Jackson Ransom, Allen Franklin, Nicole Jackson, Tiffany, Asia, and Daune Miller, Medith, Connie, Omar, and Nelson Moss, and the late Lateria Wali-Uddin and Ralph Stokes; and the goddaughter of Israel Patterson, Tammi Lesane, Sheema Mickens, Lashannon Tyler, and Ramael Kennedy.
