Dear Editor:
I wanted to publicly express how honored I was to read two of my poems at this year’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. I believe there is no greater gift an artist can give than honoring those that have served, sacrificed, and suffered. In fact, I believe it is our responsibility. I would like to thank Mayor Jerramiah Healey, The Jersey City 9/11 Memorial Committee, The Jersey City Municipal Council, and the Division of Cultural Affairs for welcoming my participation.
