Funeral services were held Sept. 28 for Ralph A. Faugno, 89, of Secaucus, formerly of Jersey City and Fairview. He died Sept. 23. He was the owner of Blvd Hardware in Fairview for 30 years. He also served in the US Army during WW II. He was a member of The 82nd Airborne Division, served in the Invasion of Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, and The Battle of Amiens. Ralph was the recipient of two Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star. He was the husband of Lucia (Corbiscello) Faugno; the father of Alida Monaghan and Angela Rando and husband Guy; the grandfather of David Kieffer, James Monaghan, Erin and Lotfi Houggana, and John and Tina Monaghan; and the brother of the late Vincent, Armand, Arthur, and Anthony.
