Hoboken woman named chief diversity officer in NY

HOBOKEN – City resident Carra Wallace has a new job in Albany, N.Y.
Wallace, 47, who is reportedly the girlfriend of an embattled aide to New York Gov. David Paterson, was appointed to a $165,000 position to serve as the chief diversity officer in New York, according to a report in the New York Post.
Sources told the Post that Wallace has been dating Clemmie Harris, an aide to Paterson, who was blasted for “inappropriate conduct” in a recent investigation.
In the report, a Paterson spokesman refused to say if the governor knew that Harris had been dating Wallace before appointing her to the high-ranking job.

Wallace confirmed she has been living in New Jersey but rented an apartment in Albany, according to the report.- Ray Smith
