Funeral services were held Sept. 22 for Elizabeth “Betty” Dietzel (Staub), 101. She passed away Sept. 18. She was involved with Deborah, the Secaucus Seniors, the 60 Plus CLUB, Eastern Star, and the Women’s Grand Jury Assoc. In recognition of her service, she was Hudson County Woman of Achievement. She was also a columnist for 25 years for the Secaucus Home News. She was the wife of the late Frederick; the mother of Frederick Jr. and Gladys Riccoti; the sister of Theresa Notbohm and the late Joseph and Betty; the grandmother of nine; the great-grandmother of 15; and the great great-grandmother of nine.
