A memorial mass was celebrated Sept. 18 at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Gloria Maria Castano, 51, of Jersey City. She died Sept. 13 at the Jersey City Medical Center. She worked for many years as a supervisor at the Jersey City Board of Education. She was the daughter of Miguel Guillermo Castano and Aura Rosa Ramirez de Castano; the sister of Mauricio, Diego, Luis Fernando, Miryam, and Gladys Castano; and the aunt to many.
