To the Editor:
Everyone enjoyed music in the park, which is held every Wednesday night at 16th Street Park. The bands were the best and we had no rainy days. Plus we were provided with chairs to relax and listen to the great music. Thanks to Pete Amadeo and his staff. They made sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you to the City Fathers for providing the entertainment. The summer went by way too fast.
I also enjoyed our great Elvis Presley singer, Bayonne’s Eddie O’Rourke. He performed at the Classic Car Show on Aug. 19. We enjoyed looking at our antique cars and motorcycles. Our D.J. did a great job playing songs from the 1950s. Thank you to the children and parents for dressing up for the event. Also, thank you to the Bayonne Police for keeping the crowd in order.
