Funeral services were held Sept. 7 at St. Joseph’s and Michael’s RCC, Union City, for Pedro Fernandez, 71, of Union City. He died Sept. 3 at Hackensack University Hospital. He was the proprietor of Fernandez Plumbing in Union City. He was the husband of Mercedes (Lopez); the father of Beatrice M. Pucci, Kristy A., Clint W., Dan D., Michael P., Jeff C., and Peter Jr. Fernandez; the father-in-law of Elizabeth, Danay, and Delia Fernandez; the brother of Delia Torres; and the grandfather of Jarrod Ruiz, Clint Jayson, and Peter Michael Fernandez.
