A funeral mass was conducted Aug. 20 at St. Joseph’s Church for William V Moramarco, 81, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Aug. 17. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a former postal employee. He was a senior member of Society M.S. Maria SS del Buen Caminno North Bergen. He was the husband of the late Mary Moramarco; the father of Mary Lou and Patrice Moramarco; the father-in-law of Tom Zoccolo and Chester Jackiewicz; the grandfather of Vincent, Alexandra and Isabelle Zoccolo, Adam Joseph and Daniel Jackiewicz; the brother of Cookie and husband John Iorio; the brother-in-law of Leonard and Carol Tavarone, Jean D’Altorio and the late Rocco and Joan Longo, Joseph Tavarone, Carl and Connie DiStefano; and the brother of the late Lucy Moramarco and Teri Gilmartin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, friend Irene Vilano, and countless others. Services arranged by Riotto Funeral Home.
