Dear Editor:
I was at the Liberty Humane shelter today (which serves Jersey City and Hoboken), and met Milkbone and I’m in love…He doesn’t look like a real pitbull. He is a bit larger, but he has the most awesome personality. If he could, he’d probably sing for treats, smile, sits shakes we were giving him treats.
A little dog was there. He showed no signs of aggression, and he is supposed to have small dog aggression. He is so great, if I had room, 2 dogs already and a bunch of cats, I’d take him in a heartbeat. At present, he can only go a rescue, not to a family…I don’t understand that reasoning, as the dog did not appear to be aggressive at all, he had never seen me before and was totally friendly. It would be horrible if this dog would be put down.
