A funeral mass was offered Aug. 17 at St. Anne R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Agnes C. Canny. She died peacefully on Aug. 14. Agnes was born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Patrick Canny. She worked in claims at the Hartford Insurance Company in New York City for 32 years, retiring at age 62. She was the sister of Kathleen Castle and Mary Tyler and the late Rose Canny and Patrick Canny. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
