HUDSON COUNTY — A local animal volunteer says that as many as 40 cats need homes by Tuesday after they were removed from a residence in Hudson County.
While the exact information could not be confirmed with the owner of the cats, the Secaucus Animal Hospital is involved and confirmed that they have 10 of the cats that are up for adoption.
The volunteer who is involved with the situation said that he and other volunteers are hoping to relocate 30 formerly feral cats to safe colonies.
All of the cats up for adoption are spayed and neutered, and are adult cats.
