Mayor Smith and party:
I voted for all of you because I felt you all cared for Bayonne and us, the people.
I did not like what I read about the gas pipes being installed in Bayonne. Not only that it isn’t for Bayonne use, but for New York. Let New York put this line in the waters around Staten Island to New York City. It’s their problem. Don’t we have many others of our own? Do you realize the problems and the danger it brings? No matter how many exits we have, there will not be a way out two and one half by three miles. We will all be affected no matter where we live.
Is money more important than us? People are more important and their care of life! Money can be made, but people cannot be replaced.
