HOBOKEN — The city of Hoboken has $2 million in federal funding to help improve safety on Observer Highway, and Transportation Director Ian Sacs wants to know how the community believes it should be spent. A meeting is slated for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug 17 at the Multi-Service Center, located at 124 Grand St.
“This is an exciting opportunity to make improvements to a roadway that currently does not look or feel like Hoboken. We want this street to be more inviting and safer for pedestrians and cyclists,” said Mayor Dawn Zimmer in a press release. “Community feedback is critical to success, so I urge residents to come out and provide their input.”
