HOBOKEN — The Hoboken homeless shelter has moved 43 people to their own homes so far this year, the shelter reported in its newsletter this week. Also, they are hosting a fundraiser for Wednesday, Aug. 18 at City Bistro on 14th Street in Hoboken. There is a minimum donation of $25 at the door, and the event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
There are many other ways to help – patronizing certain businesses on certain days, and donating supplies such as cups, soap, and office supplies.
