A funeral mass was celebrated July 27 at St. Anthony’s Church, Jersey City, for Nelia S. Ulicki, 58. She passed away July 21. Born in the Philippines, she immigrated to Jersey City in 1986. Nelia worked in McDonalds as a manager for 10 years and in St. Joseph’s Home for the Blind as a dietary aide for 20 years. She was the wife of Joe Ulicki for 16 years; daughter of the late Octavio Sunaz and Justa Nicbres; and sister of Jojo Sunaz, Lydia and husband Nilo Borromeo, Antonio and wife Emma Sunaz, Hermie and wife Nelia Sunaz, Ester and husband Onofre Ramos, Cezar and Coring Sunaz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and step-daughter Desiree and her grandson Stanley. Services arranged by the Michalski Funeral Home, Jersey City.
