To the Editor:
I think that if Mayor Smith would have said when he was running for mayor that he hated cats, do you think he would be in office now? I don’t think so.
Also if the City Council people would have said the same thing, that they hate cats, too, would they be where they are? I don’t think so.
I hope that Mr. Richard Censullo and the mayor and the people of the City Council will listen to Kathleen Henderson and all the people from the Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation and stop listening to Jeanette A. Vreeland from the Fish and Game Council and start listening to people who know more about cats. If the mayor or any member of the City Council will not listen to Kathleen Henderson or any member of the Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation, I will contact the press, and people will know that this is a great way to stop cats from having kittens. And try to adopt a cat.
Kathleen Henderson is doing a great job with this foundation. I will help Kathleen out as much as I can to stop the cats from being killed. To the people of Bayonne, what would you like to see in your yard, a cat or a rat?
I will feed all the strays and feral cats, and anybody who has a problem with that, well it is too damn bad.
