Funeral services were held St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford, for Patricia M. Mitten, 82, a lifelong resident of Hoboken. She passed away June 16. Miss Mitten was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran and served as a nurse. For 20 years she was the Health Officer for the City of Hoboken and retired in 1993. She received her master’s degree from Columbia University. She was the daughter of the late Irving and Agnes (nee Behan) Mitten; friend of Marie G. Murtha; aunt of Edward, Ann, Barbara, Vivian, Robert and Lynda. Services arranged by the Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.
