Hoboken council will discuss garage cleanup, new sites, other matters Tuesday

HOBOKEN — The city will consider at a special meeting Tuesday night awarding a contract to clean up the area of the Hoboken Municipal Garage, which the city hopes to sell to a developer.
The city also plans to discuss sites where they will move the garage.
For the 7 p.m. meeting, there are other matters on the agenda including:
-Corrective Action Plan for 2009 fiscal year audit
-Awarding contracts to prepare updated tax maps
-Awarding contract for Fire Dept audit
-Resolution to accept a chance order for Pier C Park and use funds to buy ‘shade structures’ necessary for the safety of the children using the playground equipment
-Award contract to company to initiate a ‘real time flood monitoring system’
-Award contract to labor negotiations attorney with firm of Scarinci Hollenbeck
-Award city auditing services contract
-Interim use and license agreement for Maxwell Place Block E (waterfront park).
