Funeral services have been held for Evelyn Baecker. She passed away June 1. Evelyn was a tireless volunteer, serving over 60 years with several organizations including the Lighthouse, Christ Hospital, and Woman Volunteers of America. A member of the Weehawken Woman’s Club and the Weehawken Seniors Club, Eveyln was also an inveterate traveler, an avid sailor, and a friend. She was the wife of the late William Baecker; sister of the late Francis; aunt of Anne Gorman; father Cassian Miles, and Joe Miles; grand aunt and great-grand aunt of several nieces and nephews.
