HUDSON COUNTY — We want to read and publish your opinions on important local topics! Often we hear of people who sent us letters to the editor but never saw them printed — and usually we find out that they sent them to the wrong address, or failed to include a way to contact them to confirm their authorship, as part of our policy.
Submitting a letter is simple.
E-mail a letter to the editor to: editorial@hudsonreporter.com. The address also appears each week on our letters page. You must include your phone number and address on the letter (they will not be printed). Letters must be under 500 words.
All letter-writers submitting letters will receive a phone call within one to three days of receipt to confirm your letter or an e-mail to ask for documentation. If you do not get a response, that means your letter was not received and you should check the address and send it again, or feel free to call 201-798-7800 to check where it may be in the process.
Letters may also be sent by clicking “opinion” above, but may take longer to be published because they require more formatting that way.
Please send your letters and make your opinions known!
