Woman found dead in Weehawken garage most likely overdosed

WEEHAWKEN AND BEYOND — Marisa S. Eisen, 26, of Manalapan, who was found dead in a car parked in a garage for the Riva Pointe Condominiums in Weehawken last Friday morning, most likely died as a result of an accidental drug overdose, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio.
DeFazio said that based on interviews and preliminary medical reports, the death was the result of using “multiple controlled dangerous substances.”
Weehawken police initially responded to a call last week when someone said they saw a man slumped over in a car parked in the garage of the luxury condo community.
There was a man there as well: Ruben Perez, 33, of Kearny. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Both Eisen and Perez were apparently visitors to the condos.
