Don Nagle’s Karate for Kids competes in the 25th annual Diabetes Benefit Tournament

Don Nagle’s AOKA Karate for Kids, 764 Broadway, under the direction of Hanshi Ralph D. Passero, Ninth Dan Isshinryu, competed in the 25th annual Diabetes Benefit Tournament, and held by Master John Hughes in Hackettstown, N.J.
Jessie Cupo, yellow belt, competed in this mixed division of boys and girls in kata. Jessie’s performance earned her third place in this competitive division. This is Jessie’s second competition, and her training nightly has improved her fighting and kata.
Shihan Frank Casavecchia, Seventh Dan, has the expertise in teaching and explaining each move to the student, so it is performed as if fighting with an opponent.
