JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — “Sex and the City” actress Sarah Jessica Parker recently shot the May 2010 cover of Vogue Magazine at The Beacon in Jersey City, a collection of historic art deco buildings built in the 1930s that are being restored and transformed into a luxury mixed-use development.
Two residential buildings at The Beacon have already been completed and are home to more than 550 residents, while work is underway on a third.
Parker’s movie “Sex And the City 2” premieres Friday, May 28, 2010, at the start of Memorial Day weekend.
