Dear Editor:
The future of Hoboken depends on the education of our children. We need a School Board comprised of parents who care about all of our students, and know the value of a great education and the difference it can make in the life of a child.
I urge everyone to go to the polls this Tuesday, April 20th, and elect three caring parents who enrolled all of their own children in Hoboken’s public schools. Ken Howitt, Kyelia Colon, and Patricia Waiters each epitomize the concerned parent whose commitment to educational excellence is vital if our youth are to receive the tools necessary to succeed in today’s world.
The time for politics on the School Board is over. We need to elect candidates who will make children their priority, and work together in harmony towards the common goal of giving all of Hoboken’s children a quality education.
Accordingly, I urge everyone to vote 3B, 6A and 9A to elect Ken Howitt, Kyelia Colon, and Patricia Waiters to the School Board.
