‘When I’m elected, this will change’

To the Editor:
My name is John R. Cupo, and I am an independent candidate for 1st Ward councilman. When I say independent, I mean 100 percent to represent the people of my ward, and not like my opponent on the Smith political machine, who will be a rubber stamp.
I agree with Mr. Kantor, an independent candidate for mayor, that it is about time for Bayonne people to make history! Vote for independent candidate Cupo, not for the mayor and his rubber stamp candidates.
John R. Cupo asks you, the voters in the 1st Ward, “Has your former councilman even voted against a property tax increase?” Never! When has a 1st Ward councilman ever voted against a land tax increase? Never! When I’m elected, this will change. John R. Cupo will present budget cuts to the bone, stop wasteful spending, and reduce the bonded debt and the city taxes.
I know that I am a new name seeking office, but when elected, John R. Cupo will be a team player for the people only. I ask you to vote for John R. Cupo, 12C, for independent 1st Ward councilman on May 11, 2010.

JOHN R. CUPO
1st Ward Candidate (12C)
