A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated April 8 at St. Bridget Church, Jersey City, for Ramona Maldonado, 73 of Union City. She passed away April 2 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico she moved to Jersey City in 1963. She last was employed by the Manischewitz Company in Jersey City for 35 years, retiring in 1996. She was predeceased in death by her parents Raimundo Velazquez and Julia Maldonado and a son, Alberto Burgos. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Miguel and Raimundo Burgos. She was the grandmother of four: Genesie Burgos, Sophia Mercado, Krystal Mercado and Omar Burgos. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, including Destiny and Jaleena Valle and Chester and Jacob Burgos. Services arranged by the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
