Funeral services were held April 3 for Timothy Gorrie, 52. He died March 30 at home. Born in Jersey City, the son of the late Betty Jean and James Gorrie, he lived in the Union Beach section of Matawan for 20 years before moving to Whittsett, N.C. in 2007. He worked as a clerk for K-Mart in Burlington, N.C. Prior to that, he worked as a shipping-receiving clerk for Senveo Envelope Co. in Jersey City. He is survived by his sons, Timothy and Kevin Gorrie and their mother, Denise (Smallze) Osorio. He was the brother of Robert and the late James Gorrie.
