Don’t miss the biggest stories in the papers over the weekend!

HUDSON COUNTY — Did you pick up your Reporter newspaper this weekend, or check it out online? If not, here are some of the top stories you can find below:
-In Weehawken, it’s four more years for Mayor Richard Turner and his commissioners, as no one filed on Thursday to run against them in the May 11 election. In Union City, Mayor Brian Stack wasn’t so lucky and will face opposition that day.
-Speaking of elections, in Secaucus, there may even be a battle of two opposing council slates in the June Democratic primary! Their regular municipal election will be in November.
-In Hoboken, where’s the tax decrease? It’s not coming this year – or not by much, anyway. Also, the council voted down a contract for police and will have to go back to the drawing board.
-In Union City and West New York, an artist has come up with a networking website for other area artists.
What else is happening? Lots! Check it out at www.hudsonreporter.com.
