The volunteers work at the Auxiliary sponsored Gift Shop in the hospital lobby and the Thrift Store, located at 536 Garden. The commitment of the volunteers helped to raise more then 1.5 million dollars towards the auxiliary’s pledge to the Emergency and Obstetrics Departments. The Gift Shop provides convenient shopping for hospital employees and visitors while the Thrift Store provides a much needed service to the community in the current economic environment. Ms. Pope noted that it is gratifying to see smiling customers who clothe their families and purchase toys and household items of exceptional quality.
