It was a GPS in his pants

BAYONNE AND JERSEY CITY — Bayonne police officials said they found John Ramos, 18, of Jersey City, walking in the middle of the street near Avenue E and East 12th Street on Feb. 22 at about 3:24 a.m.
When the police got out of the patrol car to check on his well being, they reported seeing him allegedly trying to conceal something in his pants, which turned out to be a GPS navigation device. Ramos allegedly gave conflicting stories, the police said, about how he got the device. Upon further investigation, police found Ramos allegedly in possession of an iPod, which athey said turned out to be stolen from a car on Avenue C during the overnight between Feb. 17 – 18.
Ramos has been charged with burglary and theft.
