Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hoboken, for Lonnie Roosevelt Richardson, Jr. He passed away Feb. 4 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Jersey City. He had been employed as a maintenance worker for the Hoboken Housing Authority. He was the father of Curtis, Howard, Lonnie Jr., Kunta, Kathleen, Valerie, Dawn and Phanta Teonia (Jose Cruz) Richardson, Robert Goodwin Jr., Faith Lovely and the late Jane Goodwin and Ivy Cruz; grandfather of 38; great-grandfather of 33; son of the late Lonnie Sr. and Gladys Richardson, and brother of Dorothy McNeil, Lora Hill and the late William, Marilyn and Gladys Richardson. His special friends were Louise, Andy and the late Buster Johnson. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
