I want to thank the Reporter for doing the profile on me while announcing the 2nd printing of my Hoboken novel, Natural Enemies. The writer, who did a superb job with such unpromising material, got one fact wrong: Fool’s Paradise, the Arabia travel book, was published by Random House in 1988, not 1980. I started writing it in 1980. It took me eight years.
