A memorial mass took place Feb. 13 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Martin V. Ball, Sr., 79. He passed away Feb. 7. He was the husband of Martha; father of Martin, Patrick, Carol Soto, Margaret Hopkins, Anna Kyle and Eileen Langston; step-father of Elizabeth Easler, Martha Ranella, Mary Paris, Cathy Shearer, Melvin Shearer, Michael Shearer, and the late Diane Urciouli, and brother of Eileen Jodzio, and the late Jack and Anthony Ball. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services arranged by the Fallon Funeral Home, Jersey City.
