LIVE TONIGHT: Hoboken City Council meeting

HOBOKEN — The City Council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight and discuss items such as the dedication of “Amato Way” at the corner of First and Adams streets.
The corner will be dedicated to Andrew Amato, a former City Councilman and civic leader, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the age of 78.
Other items to be considered include an ordinance for first reading that would authorize a $12 million bond ordinance to repair collapsing piers at Sinatra and Castle Point Parks; a resolution by the council demanding the state release the police audit that Mayor Dawn Zimmer said has been kept from her since August, and a resolution allowing the city to hire security guards for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
