POTENTE, PASQUALE

Funeral services were held Feb. 8 for Pasquale “Patsy” Potente, 88. He died Feb. 5 at his residence in Kenilworth. Born in West New York, he lived in Kenilworth for the past 11 years. Mr. Potente worked for Marcal Paper Mills in Elmwood Park where he retired as supply manager. Before that, he owned Ray’s Railings in West New York. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having received a Bronze Star serving with the 11th Armored Division at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Senior Citizens and the VFW both of Kenilworth and the 11th Army Reunion Committee. Mr. Potente was predeceased by his wife, Anna Corvullo Potente. Surviving are his two daughters, Annnamarie Duda and Rosemarie Jeffery and sons-in-law Chris and Mark. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Mike and his wife Maureen, Vinnie, Jackie, Conor and Lauren; and his two great grandchildren, Mikie and Maggie. Services arranged by Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, Westfield.
