A funeral service was held Jan. 28 for Howard M. Kornhaber, 53. He died Jan. 24 at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in New York City and raised on the lower East Side, he moved to Jersey City in 1981. He was an avid model train buff and had an interest in cars. He was the husband of Mary Calandriello Kornhaber; father of Marc and Jacqueline; son of Sara (Goldstone) and the late Martin Kornhaber; grandfather of Maria Jean, and brother of Phyllis Adamik and Jack Kornhaber. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
